italianjohn (337), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 23, 2008 Updated: Apr 23, 2008a bit watery smooth drinking and slightly bitter going down but overall a good safe beer to buy a case of if your feeling something german ... last time i drank it was in das boot they gave away at oktoberfest in virginia beach gotta love a free boot! mink45k (7), Cedartown, Georgia, USA does not count Mar 22, 2008 In the bottle, this beer is garbage. On draft, however, it’s excellent. Can’t understand the dramatic difference. FatTony (121), Augusta, Georgia, USA Mar 21, 2008 11.2 ounce bottle- poured a very clear light yellow, looked weak. Moderate, but long-lasting bright white head. Virtually no aroma. Anemic, alcohol flavor with a mildly bitter after taste. Felt like an empty mouth. Save a little on this brew and buy any American "Lite" beer at the local Kroger. Disappointing. Goba (62), Brazil Mar 20, 2008 Ok beer. Bottle, 1L. Faint aroma of hop, some fruitness, a little acid. Golden body, white head, that lasts nicely. Higher carbonation than I’d like to see, body with some more density than I was expecting, but nothing much. The taste is very soft, hoppy, some maltness, with bitter and lightly fruity aftertaste. Nice barbecue pilsner! / Cerveja ok. Pilsner legal pra churrasco! travita (1851), Frisco, Texas, USA Mar 20, 2008 Light yellow golden sort of color with an ok head. Slightly skunky in the smell maybe a slight grains and malts. Taste is very light with slight malts and hops. KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 16, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Grassy aroma with malty notes. Sweet flavor with caramel notes and a discrete bitter finish. thepegjett (92), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Mar 15, 2008 Hoppy, fruity and light gold. Very light flavor mostly bitter. A true summer time German beer. ShamRock (20), Rochester, New York, USA Mar 11, 2008 Its was ok. Taste allright, but a litlle bitter. The aftertase is not too pleasant. Has a slight fruity taste to it. It better then Budwiser but not quite Bass Ale. I won’t have any trouble finishing my six pack but I probably won’t buy it too often.
