Gmoney (250), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA Feb 11, 2008 12 oz bottle pale yellow pour , no lace no head . very faint malt aroma .metallic bitter and a bit lemony .very light ,crisp and a little skunky . so thin ,and a faint bitter finsh . reminds me of Heineken but a little better. CJfromPhilly (82), Aston, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 10, 2008 Pours from the 12 oz. bottle a macro-like pale golden with a foamy 1 1/2 finger head. Very active carbonation. Head settles to a light collar. Aroma is a mix of sweet malt & bitter hops. Taste is a metallic bitter mix of Saaz hops and a kind of lemony, grassy dryness that lingers on the swallow, with a hint of the malt showing. Mouthfeel is light and fizzy. All-in-all, a drinkable, but not great pilsner. Would make a nice crossover beer for a macro drinking buddy who’s ready to branch out. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA Feb 9, 2008 Updated: Aug 21, 2008Poured pale amber with a decent amount of head and good lacings. Taste is smooth malts and a good amount of bitter euro hops. Very refreshing and almost bold pilsner. Dry bitter finish. Very nice beer, would be a good session brew. carmody08 (4), Canada does not count Feb 8, 2008 500 ml Can. I couldn’t get much out of the aroma on this one, it was extremely faint. I found it lacking in flavour, except for an extremely, EXTREMELY bitter aftertaste. I like bitter, but not this much. I won’t be buying this one again. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 8, 2008 Bottles and on tap. Clear golden pour with a foam white head, some lacing. Light aroma, taste of grains and hops, smooth and drinkable, maybe a little weak for some. For a popular mass produced German Pilsener nicely put together and I like it very much- great drinker! lithilorn (169), Covilhã, Portugal Feb 5, 2008 Bottle. pale gold body and white head. aroma of grass and bread. flavor like de same with bitter. A good pilsener. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Feb 5, 2008 A deep golden pour with white head. Not much on the nose, just a hint of corn and not much else. Very clean light malt flavor with a hint of bitter on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium carbonation is good as well. Solid offering. Clean crisp and refreshing. I drank it at 50* at about 40 it would be really easy to drink. asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA Feb 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden into flute glass with dense rocky white head. Nose is Grassy, mildly soapy hops and breadiness, also some raw not so pleasant grain aromas. Flavor is soft bread, fresh grains, with fresh herbal hop flavors and lightly oily hoppy bitterness in the finish. A solid pilsner built for drinking in quantity.
