Warsteiner Premium Verum

noticed lots of big chunks floating around in the bottle before i opened it. pours a light gold with a bit of cloudiness to it. faint smell of malts coming from the head. taste it slightly sweet malts. finishes bitter. has a nice bubbly mouthfeel. not worthy of the "premium" moniker.

On tap in the USA - pleasant and light, but lacking in flavor. Some beers walk the line between pilsener and pale lager - this is one of those. I had some more at another place, a German restaurant, and that time the flavor was richer, with noticable Saaz hops.

Typical lager. Crisp and refreshing, but watery and pretty much flavorless. Nothing to boast about.

Pale yellow, massive head. Faint aroma and very clear fresh flavor, not very malty. Lacking any real finish, which was both a surprise and a disappointment. Smooth and easy to drink.

Light beer, great carbonation crisp taste kinda weak though decent beer. Kinda taste a little bit like corn. Tommorow I will drink this out of 1/2 gallon mini keg. I will be back for more rating.Rerate: The beer from the mini keg taste much better, decent frothy head with a good lacing, taste crisp and drinkable, def. session beer.

Clear pale yellow, pure white head. Faint pils (eathen, undergorund, dirt roma). Weak flavor, unfortunaltely it almost resembles corn. It’s a little sweet like corn pops, but then fades. A mediocre pils at best.

Bottle. Pours clear straw with a short white head. Aroma has a bit of noble hops and some fermented barley malt. Taste is pretty non-descript pretty much like a standard pale lager. Nothing to get excited about here. Mouthfeel is watery with pretty hight carbonation. No thanks.

Bottle. Clear yellow, white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty. Flavor is the same and watery. Bland.
