Nice and crisp, great beer and very clean. Could drink it with dank meals!!!!!!! It’s a little light for my taste, but it is a good beer none-the-less BierFilz (9), Germany does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Good choice for an affordable, everyday, bottled German Premium Pils especially in the U.S. Same league as Bitburger, Radeberger, Grolsch -- no raving but also no disappointment. Straightforward, top notch ingredients and solid crafting, just on an industrial scale. Still in a totally different galaxy when compared with Budweiser & pals. crowderm (277), Recklinghausen, Germany
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2007 This beer surprised me. I lived in Germany for a few months, and during that time period drank A LOT of german pilseners. I also came to know Warsteiner as sort of a miller or bud on the German beer scene - to my surprise however, when I picked up a six pack here in the states it turned out to be a pretty tasty brew. Color is pale with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, grass, herbs and a hint of fresh fruit, maybe apple. The taste is about the same, with a nice dry finish. The beer is a little thin, but I’m sure that if I were drinking it in the summer I would probably appreciate that quality. Pretty good overall. llcooldave (319), San Antonio, Texas, USA
