A great beer, but leaves something to be desired in the taste department. It’s a little light for my taste, but it is a good beer none-the-less

Good choice for an affordable, everyday, bottled German Premium Pils especially in the U.S. Same league as Bitburger, Radeberger, Grolsch -- no raving but also no disappointment. Straightforward, top notch ingredients and solid crafting, just on an industrial scale. Still in a totally different galaxy when compared with Budweiser & pals.

This beer surprised me. I lived in Germany for a few months, and during that time period drank A LOT of german pilseners. I also came to know Warsteiner as sort of a miller or bud on the German beer scene - to my surprise however, when I picked up a six pack here in the states it turned out to be a pretty tasty brew. Color is pale with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, grass, herbs and a hint of fresh fruit, maybe apple. The taste is about the same, with a nice dry finish. The beer is a little thin, but I’m sure that if I were drinking it in the summer I would probably appreciate that quality. Pretty good overall.

Pale golden in color. Head dissipated quickly with virtually no lacing. Nice herbal hoppy aroma. Bubbly and dry on the palate. A nice pilsener overall.

Pours clear light gold. Clean aroma of apples, hop, grass, and alcohol. Flavour is pruney malts and hop. Light. Watery, reminds me a little of club soda.

From a sampler box of different beers. Clear golden color with small head. Mild malt aroma and slight bitter hop at the end of the flavor.

Half liter bottle sampled one day before the end of the best before date. Had a nice appearance with a golden color and had a white head that dissipated slowly with slight lacing. Smell was slightly skunky but still had a slight floral hoppiness to it. Has a nice clean flavor to it, again with only subtle maltiness and hoppiness as expected. Mouthfeel was decent with a good amount of carbonation and light body. Drinkability is insane on this, it goes down incredibly smooth, if only the rest of it was on this level. Definitely worth a try, and it’s one that when fresh, I will be coming back to.

Another beer that has probably been rated to death, but I had a pint or two last night and figured I’d submit a brief review. It was served cold from the tap at a local German watering hole. Slightly hoppy smell, but quite weak when compared to other like-brews. Weak flavor, not too crisp, watery.
