Warsteiner Premium Verum

Came with a really beautiful pilsener glass from the LCBO. Nice sweet scent. A bit of citrus and hops. Pale pour, thin head. A bit weak in the initial taste but a strong hoppy aftertaste. Not a bad beer, but not enough of anything to be great.

Poured from a bottle, there is nearly no aroma to this beer. All I get is sweetness. The color and look of the beer is right on, very appealing. Taste wise, its okay. Certainly not offensive, but not overly hoppy either. It’s like a better version of a silver bullet. Nothing wrong here...but nothing exciting either.

Pours gold with a modest white head. Mellow, slightly sweet, slightly fruity pils, laiud back on the hops.Not a standout but enjoyable enough.

I don’t know if it’s because i’m loving everything German at the moment (after honeymooning at the Oktoberfest) but this isn’t to bad. Light creamy buttery flavour, fairly crisp, not bad.

This is one of my least favorite beers from germany. Maybe its due to the skunkiness bottles

Light yeast aroma without much else in that department. Light golden radiance. Crisp and refreshing with noble hop overtones. Light feel on the palate with a refreshing moisture aftertase. Overall average, a crisp, bitter refreshment.

25 cL bottle on a Lufthansa flight to Bologna. Pours pale to golden clear yellow with lasting white head. Hay and grassy cardboard aroma, somewhat dusty. Soft carbonated mouthfeel. Flavour has a mild malt sweetness but is dominated by a grassy bitterhops flavour, not too sharp though. Ends mild and dry.

500ml can.
Pours a shining yellow gold. fair head. Quickly escaping. Smells of corn and pils hops with a little sweetness. Sticky cloying and creamy mouthfeel. Taste is sweet and corny. Not great at all. I generally like pilseners but this one is pushing it for me.
