Cryotek (206), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA Oct 13, 2007 On tap at Redlefsen’s in Bristol RI. Yellow clear light too easy to drink beer. I’m guessing this is Germany’s Bud since i saw an ad on the menu that says its their #1 selling beer over there. Well its much better than any thing Bud makes put its just on ok pils. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2007 Crisp aroma. Flavor is clean and hoppy with lingering bitter aftertaste. A good solid pils. beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Oct 11, 2007 Sitting on a 10 hour plane flight and this is being served, well I guess I will pass the time a bit by writing a review. Pours with a medium head that fades into a decent lacing. Color is crystal clear pee-yellow with a few bubbles shooting up the beer. Aroma is all-that nasty pilsner-corn, really spot on for European macro and even goes into South American crap lager territory. Taste is a saving grace, by that I mean it’s just very bland. If you look hard enough you could find some sweet apple followed by pear and ends with corn. Low bitterness with average carbonation, light and very watery. 33cl bottled on 29/05/07, small clear Luftansa plastic cup. CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA Sep 30, 2007 This was a very poor beer. The aroma was unnoticeable and the color looks like piss with a soft head. Though the flavor is suprisingly rich but doesn’t match the look at all. Codythegreat (133), Carrollton, Georgia, USA Sep 30, 2007 Looks like somebody drank a lot of water and peed in the glass. Very pale in colour, even for a pale lager. Taste isn’t bad though. I like it but I probably won’t get it again. I drank this out of a shaker. sandollor (47), Germany Sep 26, 2007 A basic German pilsner. Very crisp with a quick bite, but no lingering taste. A light amber color with white head as expected. Nothing new here, not very exciting, but an all around decent beer. TheBeerMaster (100), Little Falls, New Jersey, USA Sep 21, 2007 A distinct pilsner taste, but without the finish of its sister beers. This brand looked extremely promising, but the delivery was a little lacking. Personally, I think if you’re going for a pilsner, skip this and head toward a true one. Definitely worthwhile for washing down a hearty meal, but not necessarily a standalone product. Hance07 (192), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Sep 21, 2007 Could someone explain to me why this is a "classic german pilsener" and everything from the states is a " pale lager". The aroma, appearance, and taste all scream pale lager to me. Im not saying its bad cause its not, but i dont see the difference in the styles.
