Typical German Pils and pretty good. A fizzy yellow lager appearance and sweet taste with a fair bit of hoppiness evident. Ziemlich gut! obguthr (986), Poquoson, Virginia, USA May 11, 2007 Updated: May 19, 2007Sweet corn and honey aroma. Pale golden in color with a thick fluffy head. Tastes of corn and barley with honey on the edges, only light hop finish. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA May 10, 2007 bright yellow, thin foam with a weak aroma. flavor has light hops, corn like. very light in texture with not much after taste which can lead to puttting down a bunch without feeling full. my college party life would taste alot better with german beer instead og bud light kegs... GG (1613), NorCal, California, USA May 5, 2007 This one can really hit the spot on a hot summer day. Better than your regular BMC crap, but still nothing really extraordinary. A cornflake nose with a light grassy hop character. Bright pee-yellow like color with a thin fluffy white head. Flavor is light cornflake and very light grassy hops. Finishes clean with little to no aftertaste. Easy drinking, hardly complex. Great German lawnmower beer. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland May 2, 2007 Very pale yellow in colour, sour hop nose, with a light fresh laggery hop flavour. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark May 2, 2007 Straw and an OK head. The aroma is weak with notes of malt and hops, and the flavour is sweetish with notes of malt and hops and a refreshing bitterness. It’s boring. 1702 JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA May 1, 2007 Clear, pale golden color with a decent head. Aroma is slightly grainy with a bit of pils malt and light hops. Taste is cheap and adjuncty (is that a word?) Not something I would seek out. FistFullOfCats (162), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Apr 29, 2007 Bottle. So this is wheaty and fruity in both taste and smell, but with the bitter apple skin aftertaste and better malt than most pils I’ve had. Nice and refreshing.
