Warsteiner Premium Verum

Fairly and a bit acidic. Light in color and slightly watery with a thin head. Probably worth a try for a beginner looking to see what they might be interested in.

Quite good for a cheaper beer. Good and malty with detectable hops. Very light in color.

Really quite a bland beer. Doesn’t taste or smell like anything special though it has a deeper palate than most North American beers. I would not recommend buying a 6-pack of this like I did. really just an average beer.

Claims to be the best beer from Germany, however I have never seen it in Germany proclaiming the same thing. I have never seen it even on draught. A nice smell of hops, but the appearance is very light yellow, like bud light. Goes down smooth and has an alright flavor. Worth a dry. A dinner beer, not a sipping beer.

No aroma and watery, lite golden with a head that quickly disappeared. Fairly bland mix of hops and malts. Mild bitter finish.

An agreeable pilsener. Has some nice hops, herbal flavors. A little nutty, clean, with a touch of toffee. Had on tap at a steakhouse where nothing good was available. Haven’t had since, but good in a pinch.

Poured from a bottle, grassy and mild lemon aromas. Milds hoppy flavor, not too much to this beer. Decent at best.

Bottle--Watery yellowed color with a white head that lasted a short time. So far, pretty typical. Aroma is a little weka but can detect some hops. Taste confirms aroma and appearance. A little watery with some hops. For the style it’s not too bad and I’d drink it if it were offered to me but I’m not going out of my way to get one.
