Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil Feb 26, 2007 Watery, dense but little consistent cream, metallic taste and none aftertaste noteworthy.........................................PORTUGUÊS: Aguada, creme denso mas pouco consistente, gosto metálico e nenhum retrogosto digno de nota. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Feb 18, 2007 this one is great in a bottle and even better from a mini keg! I was suprised how much i like this although it takes some getting used to tastewise. faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Feb 14, 2007 Can. Yellow colour with a big bubbly short lasting white head. Aroma of some malt and hops. Flavour of some malt, hops, bit bitter. Crisp beer. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 11, 2007 Bottle. White high creamy and lasting head. Clear golden body. Mild malt aroma with lemon notes. Sweet flavor of corn sirup with hay and grassy notes. Thin mouthfeel with sugary aftertaste without much bitterness. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Feb 9, 2007 On tap at The Tap House. Pours light amber with a thin but lacy white head. Nuts, caramel and noble hop nose. Medium-light body and carbonation. Biscuit-y caramel taste. Crisp finish that treads surprisingly close to macro lagers. reygato (12), USA Feb 6, 2007 Bottle. Nice color and decent aroma but very weak taste. Not much to go on as far as flavor, almost bitter even.
Will probably use the rest for cooking MaruchanNoodle (11), Dandridge, Tennessee, USA Feb 6, 2007 We can call this "baby" Pepe Le Pew. I immediately think of Heineken, but not nearly as strong, when I pour this German Pilsner. It pours nicely beginning with a thick white head which diminishes at a moderate pace. It starts out on the ok (slightly drinkable) side and, like the head, diminishes with each swig. The skunk aroma is not a turn off for me but just does not seem to be done right. Very light bodied with a touch of sweet maltiness. As I continue to drink "baby" Pepe Le Pew, he begins to grow up a little and get stronger, especially in the finish. This would be the Bud Light of German beers. Toodles. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 5, 2007 Bottle. Head was spare to small with a white slightly frothy sparkle. Spare lacing. Clear slightly sparkling body. Color was pale yellow. Aroma was light hay, straw, grass with some notes of sweetness. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Short finish.
