Warsteiner Premium Verum

Bottled. Clear pale yellow with a white medium head. Aroma is grassy hop. The body is light and the flavor is mild. Well hopped.

Huge fluffy white head. Clear golden-yellow color. Hoppy aroma, minimal malt presence. Standard Pilsener-ish flavors...but a bit light overall. Not horrendous, but not special by any means.

Okay.. standard German pils.. but still excellent despite its bland and uncomplex flavor. This brew is meant for quaffing in quantity, and it excels at that. Cheap beer, but excellent beer. Take it for what it is.

I know I know but I like pils styles of beer/bier it was desighned to drink and not for a fancy taste test arena. Sour corn aroma, beautiful gold color, short lived white head. wet lightly hopped flavor short lived grass after taste.

I can see I’m in the minority on this, but I thought this beer was a pretty decent European-style lager. Poured a fairly handsome golden color with abundant white head with limited staying power. Aroma smelled a bit like corn, but I believe this beer is in accordance with Reinheitsgabot (sic?), so I don’t think that’s what I was getting. Flavor was slght malt flavor, but still tasted like a German-style pilsner and was fairly crisp, refreshing, and drinkable.

Bottled. Poured yellow typicalwhite head. Hint of a sour aroma. Corn flavorith a slight malt taste..Thin body very watery. I did not enjoy this too much.

Completely terrible. One of the worst beers ever experienced. Flat and watery taste with no head or carbonation. Poorly executed.

Bottle/draft. Another average offering in the long line of mass-produced pilseners. Mainstream German bier that delivers nothing special.
