Warsteiner Premium Verum

12 oz bottle. Clear pale gold color with thin white head. It has that pale grainy maltiness to the aroma. I can also pick up on the smell of floral spice hops. Tastes just as it smells with grainy Munich style malts plus floral spicy hops. Refreshing brew although a bit lacking in depth. It also comes off a bit watery. There is a nice hop bite that lingers in the aftertaste.

This is a pretty good lager. it has the bitters so thats a big plus, its got OK foamers. its quite clean and i guess its above average by euro lager standards but not by that much.

Can. Pale yellow/golden. Snowy white, fluffy head. Good laces. Very weak aroma, hints og malt and hops. Clean taste, but also weak and bland malt and grain flavors. Surprisingly low hopbitterness for the type. High carbonation level, short dry finish. Drinkable, but light all over.

Draught. Pours a clear yellow colour with a longlasting white head. Malty grassy aroma with some griny hints. Sweet malty grassy flavor. Dry malty bitter finish.

12oz bottle. may have to re-rate. Good beer, havent had it in awhile so Im going on whim here. I remember it having a decnt body, and it was much better tasting than anything i was drinking at the time. We’ll see. Re-rated: had a 12er of this, what a mistake, a friend talked me into it. So skunky and grassy. I would never have it again, bvery unenjoyable.

Bottle. Mid-gold with a thin white head. The beer itself is very lively, quite carbonated, bubbles away for some time. Nose is wheaty, hay and grass. Taste is sweet, malty, but also refreshing and easy drinking. Palate is sweet, but unobtrusive. Quite a refreshing drink.

Very nice taste. Goes down smooth. Nice sweet flavor. Could drink this all the time. I think this would be great to fill in for or replace any standard session. Thank you Germany.

1 pt .9 floz bottle from Hy-Vee Liquors poured into flute - Pours gold with a one finger white head; Skunk and a little hops to the nose; Rice, corn, VERY light hops and a little grassy note on the initial taste; Malty, sweet backtaste; No real visible carbonation; It’s ok...better than some that I’ve had...not too many though.
