jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Jun 22, 2009 Had a bit of funk--typical german pilsner. Thats all I remember--that crazy german flavor man. delnoche (210), Germany Jun 21, 2009 33cl bottle poured into a footed pilsner. Sparkling golden with minimal white head. Aroma is floral hops. Flavor is bitter hops. Heavy carbonation. Medium bitter and metallic finish. mcdav2154 (289), Germany Jun 17, 2009 Pretty boring pilsner although a bit more refreshing when drank ice cold. Mild hop bite at the end that comes back moments after swallowed. Not a horrible beer. Nordcore (266), North of, Norway Jun 16, 2009 Can 50 cl. Apperance; Yellow, clear with a small white head. The aroma and flavor is mostly sweet malt with a sence of hops. Light bitter ending... ok durhambeer (1186), Durham, USA Jun 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours pale gold with big white head that reduces to a thin but persistent layer. Tastes of corn, mild grassy hops, and grains. Light and refreshing, but nothing special. shawnm213 (861), South Bend, Indiana, USA Jun 14, 2009 One of the cheapest beers I’ve had in weeks. typical german pilsner. nothing too exciting. Cirrhosis (607), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 10, 2009 "Very pale gold body complete with a one inch rocky cap, descent enough looking brew. German style smelling hops and no skunk in the aroma, the malts are slightly bitter. The aroma is slightly milder than most other German lagers. Taste is bitter it almost has a coffee like flavor but not really, German hops and malts are fairly smooth and blend well together. I’m hitting some earthy notes in the flavor but there very weak, beer finishes with a bready sweetness that is acceptable. Beer is tasty and easy drinking very acceptable brew. " Vertical Bacon Strips (874), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 8, 2009 Poured carefully into the tiny 200ml Warsteiner I finally got to use - what good is a 200ml glass?? Clear weak yellow gold with light effervecence, it still created a monster white rocky cap that suffered a quick death. Sweet dry grass, notable malts and fresh mild yeast makes up the aroma. A good ammount of flavour awaits: upfront malts and an early bitterness that reappears in the aftertaste. The malts, hops and yeast are blended together well as are the sharp grass and bitterness. The yeast became larger as it warmed. One of my favorite Euro Pils to slam back.
