Looks like apple juice mixed with water. Aroma of sugar, sweet malt and yeast. Way too sweet. The flavour is super: super watery and super sweet! Tastes like sugar water. Ugh! Avoid. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 20, 2003 This pilsner poured a medium head that dissolved quickly. The carbonation could be seen rising to the top. It had a fruity aroma. The body was yellow. It had a bitter taste and an aftertaste that lingered. TomDecapolis (3173), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 23, 2005 Had about 4 of these at a Christmas party. Unfortunetly I didn’t have a glass to pour into, so this rating is straight out the bottle. Aroma was malty and grainy. Flavor was lightly bitter, some citrus. A little more flavorful and some more hops than other German pilseners I’ve had. Was an alright session beer. Would pick this over the standard American macro brews anyday. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 31, 2004 Much better than Beck’s or Heineken, I think. Smoother at any rate. Pours blond with a tall foamy white head. Aroma is crisp and a bit grassy and mixed with some European hops. Gladly not skunked! Not too bad! Taste is carbonated and grassy. Some malt but generally pretty crisp and refreshing. A decent summer type beer or for whenever it’s hot. Finish is a bit sharp and the palate is carbonated. Not horrible but more an everyday refresher than a complex beer fan’s dream. RichardGretton (3145), Leicestershire, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 18, 2003 Updated: Sep 15, 2004Rerate Not sure what I was thinking the first time I had this. Dark golden appearance, slightly worty aroma with a bit of saazy skunk, corny like yeasty flavor dominates, decent mouthfeel, turns a tad metallic though near the finish. Original 4.0 Kept passing this by in the grocery store - finally trying it - need to get all of the top 50 most accessible beers! 10 more to go! Good clean pils - beats Urquell hands down. Clean crisp pour, with a good bit of lacing - better than average aroma for a pils. All in all a good example of the style - glad I bought a whole six. Stays strong to the finish. ogivlado (3070), Zagreb, Croatia
