Sweet malt aroma is promising, but the flavour is a bit thin and watery until the dry, lasting finish. 19.10.09 On draught at Hotel Lindos Blu, Rhodes, Greece. It was a choice between this and Amstel. Sweet and not bitter enough thought I on this occasion. 5,3,4,3,8:2.3 GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Skunky, but not unpleasant hop nose and flavor typical of European pilsners. Dry with a hint of honey flavor. Pleasant grainy finish that reminds me of corn on the cob. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

Mildly fenoly and hoppy aroma, nothing special. Fenols in flavor too, ends with medium hops and some alcohol tones. Medium carbonation. Standard mildly dry pilsner. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Initial malt aromas reapper in the mouth along with what seems to be an adjunct flavour despite its reinheitsgebot roots, but then there is nothing to stop a German brewer using adjuncts for beers exported outside Germany. Draft on a train moving at 109 km/h. The beer was well eh, but draft on train is pretty damn cool. From my notes I though it was smooth and nice, and I was getting drunker by midday. presario (2987), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
