In the bottle. Tiny bubbles. Yellow as dog pee. Nice up front bittering hops to this fizzy beer. I get a flower-like sweetness at the end. Too light for me.

Because life is too short to drink cheap beer? Well I wouldnt exactly say that this is the beer to drink if life is short. Sure kicks Heineken’s ass though!!!

Bottle - Sour malt aroma. Light yellow color with small collapsing head. Taste is much better - full flavored malt with nice mouthfeel and slight bitter finish. I was going to make a smart ass comment about Warsteiner being the German word for Bud but it’s much better than that. It’s really a pretty good beer - only the aroma is a bit off.

Bottle. Clear blonde color with a nice white head. Aroma of malt with hops notes, maybe citrus too. The flavor begins bitter then becomes mostly malty and fruity (citrus) with a light metallic feeling. Slightly bitter finish. Light body, lively carbonation, slightly watery texture. All in all it’s a clean, decent pilsner but still lacks some character and body to be considered good.

I have to say I was a little let down the 2 times I tried this beer after hearing so many good things about it. It tastes a lot like the standard fare that is clean but not really that flavorful.
