For me, really one of the best German pils out there. Hadn’t realized til just now that I hadn’t rated it. Easy to drink, no downsides.

Hay-like nose and piss yello color with no head. Light malt taste and clean, bitter finish that is faint. Thin and watery. I’m insulted by this beer, which you can get everywhere in Deutschland, home of the Reinheitsgebot. Pretty bad stuff.

Light golden-yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is malty and slightly metallic (possibly due to the fact that it came from a can). Body is crisp and fresh. Flavour is sweet and malty with a dry and decently hopped finish. A simple and well-balanced warm weather beer.

12 oz bottle pours pale golden with a white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is of hay and new sneakers. Flavor is grainy. Some barley and corn taste followed by a semi bitter hop finish. On the palate this is crisp and clean. I’m surprised that this beer claims to be Germany’s number 1 anything. Drinkable but that is it.

Bottle: Pours a clear light yellow with a thin white head, malty biscuity aroma with flowery hops, watery texture with nice carbonation. Starts and ends lightly bitter with a grainy ending.

Pours a clear yellow with a low head. Taste is classic pilsner, with light malt and hops. It’s not the best beer going, but beats the heck out of American macros. A light offering that makes a good session beer.

Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BB Apr 07). Pale watery appearance. Light spicy straw hop aroma with perhaps a little almost fruity English edge to it. Smooth malt body.Quite drinkable but other than the delicate hops at the start not much of interest.

Light Yellow Coloring. Light White Head. Skunky. Watery. Not Much Here and Really...The Dunkel is Your Only Friend....
