Or maybe this isn’t the best choice to be following an Imperial IPA? But a decent hop bitterness turns things around for me in the end. nearbeer (1863), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 29, 2007 Pours clear, pale golden with a small creamy head that lasts. Aroma is Northern European lager yeast and corn cereal. Taste is same, with some sweetness that makes it slightly more palatable than some of this style. Palate is thin, watery, and qualifies this beer for lawnmowing time only. DrnkMcDermott (1861), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 28, 2004 Bottled. Looks like your choice on Lufthansa is Warsteiner or Becks. Warsteiner turned out to be just a notch above most beers of its kind. Its character actually lets the mild hop profile come through. Still hard to get past the fact that it looks and pours just like a Miller. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Not delicious. Hazy golden amber pour. Dusky old grain aroma. Flavor of dusty and moldy grain. But, not really impressive for the style. Finishes skunky. LinusStick (1848), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2007 A below average Classic German Pilsener. Aroma of corn. Taste of adjuncts of corn, grain and nastiness. Light gold pour with no head. Blah Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
