Well-made, classic German pilsener with a nice herbal bitterness.

Clear straw body with white head. The aroma is herbal and slightly skunked. The flavor is lemon, bready and herbal. The mouthfeel is light.

Pours gold into a shaker. Head immediately dissipates to nothing. No aromas. Crisp and sour/sweet honey upfront with a quick hop finish.

Just kind of blah. The best I can muster to say about this beer is that I poured with a nice head. I was also very dry, crisp and refreshing. It just doesn’t taste very good.

Really not a bad pilsner. Smell is minimal, and certainly not skunked. There is kind of a nice candy sugar taste in the palatte. This went well with my Italian food.

50 cl can, Norwegian 4,7% abv. Ligth golden/yellow color. Disappering white head. Moderate aroma of malt. In flavor there is some sweetness, strawy malt. Very moderate bitterness. Thin and very boring.

I absolutely loved this beer. It tasted great while being one of the most solid and bold brews i have ever had. I'm also glad to see that it is becoming more popular, at least in the chicagoland area. Good fucking christ, did i actually write that. This stuff is skunky, boring, a pilsner none the less.
