It tasted great while being one of the most solid and bold brews i have ever had. I'm also glad to see that it is becoming more popular, at least in the chicagoland area. Good fucking christ, did i actually write that. This stuff is skunky, boring, a pilsner none the less. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2002 Drank a pint of the draft version of this beer at a swanky resort in Arizona for $7+. First impression was that it wasn’t worth the price. But value proposition aside, it was a smooth, pretty easy drinking beer, albiet not memorable. The aroma is unobtrusive wheatiness. It has a thin head with good lace and is pale gold in color. If you like dry, crisp German Pilsners, this is a good option; I simply like my beer more full-bodied. plovmand (1726), Helsinge, Denmark

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 15, 2003 Odd taste. The pour reveals a golde colour with a frothy head. Aroma is malty and something I can't describe. Taste is unique, why I don't really know. Finish is subtle yet forgettable. SudsMcDuff (1696), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
