Some hops and decent nose. Decent mouthfeel. A really basic pils that is so common in Germany. Always good, but rarely great. But always enjoyable. Why can’t they makes pilsner like this in the US? A nice aroma of grassy and grainy notes. The flavor was full of very clean and easygoing hops, some malt, and lots of grass and light Saaz hops in the finish. Very. very quaffable. Nice and simple, but good. GG (1678), NorCal, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 This one can really hit the spot on a hot summer day. Better than your regular BMC crap, but still nothing really extraordinary. A cornflake nose with a light grassy hop character. Bright pee-yellow like color with a thin fluffy white head. Flavor is light cornflake and very light grassy hops. Finishes clean with little to no aftertaste. Easy drinking, hardly complex. Great German lawnmower beer. Bart (1670), Brussels, Belgium

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 1, 2007 Clear, pale golden color with a decent head. Aroma is slightly grainy with a bit of pils malt and light hops. Taste is cheap and adjuncty (is that a word?) Not something I would seek out. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden
