Aug 5, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden/yellow with lots of visible carbonation and a fizzy white head. Bready aroma with lots of malt. Flavor is crisp and refreshing. A nice pilsner and much better then some of the other German pilsners out there.

Mar 1, 2008 Bottle - Pours light golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is a little skunky with slight hop aroma. Taste is a little hoppy but tastes watered down.

Nov 3, 2004 Updated: Jul 21, 2006Well... I will give this one some credit. My brother traditionaly drinks skunky pale lagers, but I got him to try one of these and he enjoys it. At least its a step above heinekin or rolling rock. For me... it does have that slightly skunky aroma and flavor to it. Not particularly delightful.
The flavor is sweet and clean. This bottle wasn’t skunky. Just a little bit of corn sweetness.

Apr 11, 2004 If I were to choose a macro, this could be it. Clear and light with a white lasting head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Flavor is hoppy, and has a nice malty undertone. As far as light lagers go, this is a decent lawnmower beer, and has some hops to back it up.

Jul 15, 2003 Color is yellow hay-like with a strong white head about a finger high and stuck around leaving patchy lace. Smell is faint malt and hop, some what skunky but didn't seem to echo in the taste, at least not all together. Taste was crisp and clean, much like a light pilsner. Although it didn't have much malty sweetness, there is a hint of herb-like hop dry bitterness. Has a medium light body feel with a faint malt and drying hop finish, left a little empty and had a small metallic tone. An OK beer but easily overlooked for a reason.

Nov 6, 2005 Warsteiner is a very popular beer for Americans in Geremany. Perhaps it is their Bud. It looks a bit like a Bud product. Its aroma, however, is BAD. Sour and mashie smelling it is to the point of being offensive. Its flavor is better but run of the mill. Pretty smooth tasting with a hint of bitterness and malt.
