Skunk emanes as soon as the bottle is opened, but disappears rather fast. It's obviously not to make room to complex aromas, pretty much only a light cereal nose combined with malt. The taste is so anticipated it's not even funny. no surprises at all: malt, cereals, hops. Actually, more bitterness would have boosted this otherwise just too light and easy beer. hopscotch (5551), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Very pale yellow lager. Almost colorless. Fizzy white head.
Light toffee and straw notes.
Well-balanced, but quite thin. Decently bittered. Light buttery flavor with hints of dry grass.
Light-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean, dry finish.

Standard lager aroma of roasted corn and Saaz hops. Body starts in much the same way with some mild sweetness before a stinging carbonation and drier bitterness set in. Not very fresh or balanced enough to be true to the style or worth sampling again. Bov (5514), Bienne, Switzerland

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 30, 2004 Extremely pale gold, totally clear; very fine white head, slowly collapsing. Chalk, milk-ripe grain, raw milk, summer wheatfields. Pale, metallic taste, getting quite bitterish for an instant, then leaking the pale malt through. Ends metallic-hoppy again. The balance malt-hops is impressive, the taste is awful. If these were noble hops - how have they been treated? Thin, watery texture, some burning. One really would have expected better from Germany’s N°1 selling Pilsener. imdownthepub (5188), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Keg at Roma, Oxford. Pale gold with big white head. Light, dry, wheaty beer with heavy maltiness. If there is hop, it was too subtle for me. Crispness seems to be the key, it was ok but not special. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark
