Very pale blond, small layer of white head. Dill and mint hops. Sweet, almost toothpaste-like smells. Flavor is lightly hoppy, sweet, a little bit of toastiness, a little medicinal in the finish. Palate is light, but not completely watery. A bit more substance than the average mass-market version, but none of the magic of a truly great pils.

I was expecting a much better beer. Very mediocre. Good by American standards, but not up to snuff compared to other German brews.

Pale yellow, small white head. Aroma is maizy and ricy, with hints of hops. Flavor is a syrup laced with malt. Kinda thick on the swallow. Not very good. The Bud of Germany.

Can. Yellov colour, white foam.Aroma Sweet aromatic maltyness and citric, bitternes in the end. Thin body, with a balanced bitternes and sweet maltyness. Short bitter finish.

Pale gold with generous egg-shell white head. Very little aroma. Flavor is crisp, mild hops. Not much to suggest it over other European lagers (e.g. Heineken)

Always figured this for being more commercial than other German fare. After tasting I would have to say I had every reason to harbor those feelings.

Bottle/draft. Another average offering in the long line of mass-produced pilseners. Mainstream German bier that delivers nothing special.

Clear but not very lively looking. Mild malt aroma. A little sour. A get some DMS. Surprisingly undercarbonated. OK malt flavor with cardboard and cheesy hops.
