The taste is smooth, malty, sweet, with little bitterness. A good drinkable lager on a sunny day. eczematic (1198), Sydney, Australia

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Nov 23, 2005 5 Liter keg: Poured from the keg a crystal clear gold and was topped by a huge amount of foam. The head never went died out during any point of drinking so it added to a smooth and creamy palate making this pils a highly quaffable lager. Aroma has light grained malt and has a faint grass smell as well. Flavor was somewhat bland and boring of barley malt with notes of sour grass. The keg kind of transformed a nitro feel and a rich creamy texture to the flavor, so i was able to enoy the flavor because of the combination created. OldMrCrow (1192), Seattle, Washington, USA

golden appearance. Crisp flavor.
Smooth. Slight tinge of grass in
the aftertaste with a little touch of
bittering hops. Good model of
style. markwise (1186), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is light malt, bread, crisp hops, and lager. Flavor is exactly the same. Clean, decent German lager, and very not bad for an InBev beer. It has the makings of a decent occasional beer. Light to barely medium body and a lingering lager/ bitter finish. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

I’d say pale gold, only it wasn’t quite deep enough. Thin, yeasty head. Aroma of sour malt and yeast. Flavor is run-of-the-mill Pils, nothing to write home about. Wasn’t very impressed by this one at all. Warsteiner’s dunkel is far superior.
