Overall, not as impressed as the dunkel. Appearance-wise, it resembled pale lagers too closely. The taste was only slightly more distinguishable from the rest of the paler beers. I can say now that I’ve tried it, but if I want cheaper german beer, I’ll stick to Warsteiner Dunkel. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2003 Pale yellow, with a fizzy, diminishing white head. Perfumed hop bitter aroma. Same perfumed taste, followed by a bitter and metallic finish. Fizzy and almost sharp on the tip of the tongue, then finishes softer, but thin. SuperDave70 (1158), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Pours a nice light gold with a foamy white head. Very light aroma of mostly wheat and a little malt. Very light tasting, sort of reminds me of a miller lite, but without the weird skunky flavor. Crisp. Not bad, but nothing special. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 27, 2007 Pale yellow colour with light white lacing around the edges of the glass. Malt grassy aroma with a little bit of hops. Flavour is crisp. You have the malt and grass going on but more hop bitters are apparent. Body is medium with medium carbonation. Dry on the back of my tongue. Kåstå (1149), Mol, Belgium
