Pours clear yellow/gold with a small head that dissipates in the blink of an eye. Nice fruity yeasty aroma with some wheat notes although i do not believe this is a wheat beer. Taste is very malt driven driven, with excessive carbonation that makes it hard to discern any flavors. Grainy aftertaste. Wish they would NOT make a beer that is so prickly i feel like i am drinking a very carbonated soda..what’s the point? Am i suppsoed to let it sit in the glass for 2 hours and then drink it just so i can taste something under the fizz?! robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

Served from a 500ml bottle.
In appearance its just your typical run of the mill pilsner, pale golden with a thickish pure white head.
Aroma is mainlly of grassy hops but its compartivlly weak.
Nice enough taste, this has good malt but the grassy/spicy hop is more dominant.
I really liked the mouthfeel on this one, quite smooth and no problem at all to gag one down.
An average beer, good in hot weather. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 3, 2004 I liked this a tad more than the dunkel. It has a decent lightness to the appearance that was a nice tandem with a sweeter feel to the beer. A little lemony as well. goozen (1088), Leiden, Netherlands

Aroma is slightly lemony, with some hops notes. There is a small malt presence with a mild fruit/citrus taste. There is a touch of bitterness (not much) and the finish is clean. I don’t much care for Pilsener’s, but this is pretty good for one. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA
