The german equivalent to "Bud" ! Very watery, unpleasant "chemical" smell and nearly no traces of good - and expensive (!) - aromatic hops. What’s the difference between a "Warsteiner" and sex on the beach ? There’s no difference; both is f...... near to water.......

Bottled: Very light yellow coloured. Has a quickly diminishing head. A little sweetish and malty in the aroma. Flavour is bland and without much power. No bitterness at all in the aftertaste. I miss some hops in this.

Pours yellow with a generous white head. Smells lemony with some minor misc. hoppy elements. Tastes light and malty with some hoppy notes. Sessionable but boring.

Thin golden colour, white head quickly falling back to nothing. Thin malty aroma, Saaz aroma. Good mouthfeel, malty taste and a decent floral/earthy hop flavour. Crisp finish.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and slowly lacing blonde foam. Slightly sweet and slightly sour grainy and herbal hoppy nose with faint traces of grassiness. Light-bitter flavour, soft malty, slightly grainy taste, light to medium bodied, crispy MF; quite dry and mild malty, light-bitter finish with shy hints of grassy hops. Boring.

Light yellow pour with almost no head. Smells of sweet malts, with a taste not too different than many Molson-type lagers. Drinks thin, bland, and slightly sour.

Can. Clear, pale golden with a dense, medium, white head. Grassy and light fruity aroma. Mild aroma dominated by mild(!) hops. Watery body and a hoppy finish. The nice, lasting head is the reason for giving it a 3 on appearance. (060404)
