I didn’t expect much of this one - best selling brands tend to be bland - but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a firm malt body and aroma, edging toward that of a watered down Scotch Whiskey. The hops were subtle but quite aromatic in a dusty, summer shower manner. Even though this is a best-seller, it’s a best-seller in a country where Pilsner is highly regarded. If it’s alright with a nation of Pilsner lovers it can’t be that bad. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Picked up a case of cans for our company picnic. Pours a clear, light golden pale yellow brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring and no lacing. Aroma of light bread dough, some grassy hops and a touch of Ivory soap. Taste is light bodied, lots of carbonation with a good balance of light malt and grassy hops. Finish is clean cut, crisp and very watery. Just a slight metalic finish but good enough for a 90 degree summer picnic. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
