Poured a hazy, very light yellow, very bubbly to start, huge foamy, almost soapy white head, surprisingly almost no lacing. Smell was strongly of icing sugar (guh!), lemon oil, chalk, floral air freshener, grain (wheat/flax), some stale hops, metals. Flavour was harsh malt - that confectioner’s sugar again - , sour lemonade, mixed grains and minerals. Mouthfeel astringent, metallic and ultimately liefless. Nasty. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2003 This brew poured a medium sized head of medium sized white mostly dissappearing bubbles that left very little lacing and a transparent light yellow orange colored softly carbonated body behind. Medium malt hop aroma, a smooth palated slighly bubbly mouthfeel and a malt hop flavor that goes down rather easily. Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark
