Can (500ml) shared with blankboy. Poured a hazy, very light yellow, very bubbly to start, huge foamy, almost soapy white head, surprisingly almost no lacing. Smell was strongly of icing sugar (guh!), lemon oil, chalk, floral air freshener, grain (wheat/flax), some stale hops, metals. Flavour was harsh malt - that confectioner’s sugar again - , sour lemonade, mixed grains and minerals. Mouthfeel astringent, metallic and ultimately liefless. Nasty.

March 2001 - Decent. Not as flavorful as I remember it being on tap. Crisp and easy to drink but nothing special.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and slightly herbal (?). A medium bodied pilsner, with the typical pilsner flavor, Its slightly malty and slightly hoppy. Smooth taste. Very drinkable. Nice, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and slightly dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This brew poured a medium sized head of medium sized white mostly dissappearing bubbles that left very little lacing and a transparent light yellow orange colored softly carbonated body behind. Medium malt hop aroma, a smooth palated slighly bubbly mouthfeel and a malt hop flavor that goes down rather easily.

Bottle. Head was spare to small with a white slightly frothy sparkle. Spare lacing. Clear slightly sparkling body. Color was pale yellow. Aroma was light hay, straw, grass with some notes of sweetness. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Short finish.

Golden with a stark white head. Floral, sweet nose. Excellent body. Sweet, citrusy barley beauty with that good German citric ending.
