I often forget how good this beer is untiI make the mistake of buying lesser beers. It has a smooth taste and a clean finish, yet it’s not too heavy to enjoy on a hot day.

this is a real good easy drinking lighter beer. Goes down smooth with a crisp clean taste. A very good pilsner.

Poured a pale golden colour with a pure white head that settled into a thin lacing and just the right amount of carbonation. Aroma is subtle with grainys and hops. Taste is just what the aroma promises with a great balance of bitterness to it. I found it to be rather refreshing after a hot day at work.

’King of Pilseners’, no less. Maybe an outside claimant to the throne. Crystal pale pils with a buttery sweetness, elegantly tempered by a crisp finishing dryness. Not remotely representative of the (typically much more bitter) style of most German Pilseners, but bready, delicate, appetising and...delicious?Draught sample(s) at a sausage stall in Lubeck.

Great beer! Appearance: a soft golden color with a white head that lingers awhile; Flavor: light and crisp with a wonderful touch of bitterness; Palate: flavor moves from the front to the back of the of the tounge with a light hop bitter at the end. Overall this is a keeper.

Soft and sweet taste. I enjoy the subtle hoppy flavour and fresh finish. This is an under-rated beer.

I really like this beer. Nice look, good pour, crisp taste, clean finish, its easy to find. Light for a German beer, but hell Im American I can appreciate a good light beer. The bottle has a very classy look to it too.

Bottle. Pours clear with good carbonation but little head. Very light gold color. Pleasant mouth feel - slightly bitter but the overall experience is excellent. Great on a hot day but not sure it would be a good, everyday beer. Would look for something with more character. Still, a pleasant experience, better than most in it’s class. Recommended.
