This beer is not offensive in any way and is just a good any time drink. Make sure to drink it out of a bottle, that cool 5 litter mini keg does it no justice. I have had this beer a few times and not really cared for it. I am rating it now beacuse I have just had a great one. Full of hop flavor and aroma. It is missing the grassyness of North American attemps at this German lager style (german pils?) Anyhow my advise is givit a few trys you may come across some samples being more fresh than others and taste the difference!
Cheers

Light for a German beer, but hell Im American I can appreciate a good light beer. The bottle has a very classy look to it too. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA

Had a nice appearance with a golden color and had a white head that dissipated slowly with slight lacing. Smell was slightly skunky but still had a slight floral hoppiness to it. Has a nice clean flavor to it, again with only subtle maltiness and hoppiness as expected. Mouthfeel was decent with a good amount of carbonation and light body. Drinkability is insane on this, it goes down incredibly smooth, if only the rest of it was on this level. Definitely worth a try, and it’s one that when fresh, I will be coming back to. altonbrownd (1962), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Very refreshing taste. Tasty with little afterbite. ghill1218 (9), 29 palms, California, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2007 i was nervous about the aroma, couldn’t tell if it was going to be very acidic or sweet, it was definatly a sweet beer, and the head was shortlived, but the taste made up for most everything. although there wasn’t much flavor, it was a balanced sweet beer, the finish was creamy almost oily. i enjoyed it, it was almost to easy to drink.
