I wasn’t extremely impressed, but if given the opportunity I would try it again, and would recommend that others try it at least once. Jedsbrew (465), Rhineland, Missouri, USA

Light to medium bodied and crisp with a nice hoppy dryness in the finish. shrubber85 (3000), Wallhalben, Germany

Taste is much better - full flavored malt with nice mouthfeel and slight bitter finish. I was going to make a smart ass comment about Warsteiner being the German word for Bud but it’s much better than that. It’s really a pretty good beer - only the aroma is a bit off. Of course clear light golden with a huge fluffy protypical head. Not so bad! cgarvieuk (4218), Edinburgh, Scotland

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Golden colour with white head. The aroma is a bit grainy with hints of hops. The flavor is somewhat sweet with a bit of fruit to it. The aftertaste is crisp and clean. A very nice example of a German pils. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Pale gold color with 2 fingers of white head. The foam is a little fizzy and leaves just a few wisps of wet lacing. Nose is malty and grainy with some Hallertau influence. Flavor is simple but effective. Clean and grainy with some pale malt. Hops lend a grassy crispness but very little bitterness. Infinitely drinkable, smooth and refreshing.
