Light aroma, taste of grains and hops, smooth and drinkable, maybe a little weak for some. For a popular mass produced German Pilsener nicely put together and I like it very much- great drinker! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 1, 2009 500 mL Can. Pours a clear bright yellow with a small white head quickly subsiding to a foamy film but leaving good lace on the sides. The aroma is sweet malt, hay, grains, a light grassyness about it, and a faint hint of honey and floral and an innuendo of lemon rind. The flavor is sweet malt with a bitter finish that is well balanced with the malt. The hops come through in the aftertaste but not too overpowering. Smooth carbonation and a somewhat lingering hop aftertaste that I think fits the style. This is one German Pils I really like. A good beer for the money. Prosit! JanEric (199), Meppel, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 2, 2002 The aroma was better than finding a penny in the road...unfortunately it was the best part. Amazing malty sweetness from the aroma, but the flavor wasn’t too complex albeit very smoothe. Not very bitter, and the finish wasn’t fullfilling. Very non abraisive, neutral beer. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA

A medium bodied pilsner, with the typical pilsner flavor, Its slightly malty and slightly hoppy. Smooth taste. Very drinkable. Nice, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and slightly dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. OberonTheifEMT (56), Ferndale, Michigan, USA
