Solid and enjoyable, but it would be a stretch to call this one a classic. This is the biggest selling, and thus blandest, beer in Deutschland. Funny, since Germany has so many breweries, the #1 beer there has 8 percent market share, as compared with Bud’s 25-30.

rerate (deleted old comments because they were worthless). color is very light golden and crystal clear with a big frothy white head. aroma reminds me of butter, turkey, and floral hops if you can imagine that combination. aroma starts off with the turkey, but the deeper you inhale the more floral and sweet it becomes...weird. taste is mostly of Saaz and is quite dry throughout the flavor with just a minute bit of sweetness to balance the flavor..this really isnt a bad beer.

drank one of those little kegs of this with a friend. ive had this beer many times over the past 2 years, just havent gotten around to rating it. i think this is way better than a 2.94 beer...weak aroma, good flavor, good drinking beer.

As with many German pilseners, the appearance well exceeds its aroma. Bitterness in this one is a bit strong. Is this ever sold in Germany, if so, what towns?

strong nice hoppy aroma, clear yellow, whilte head. great for a macro but bitterness flavor and balace is a little weird.

It is alrigh, nothing impressive. Not much head, but it is refreshing with a hint of fruitiness.

A little hoppy on the nose, nice balanced flavor between malts and hops with a little yeasty flavor. Oily with medium bubbles, nice golden color. Head could be a little more dense and lacks body on mouth. An average german pils.

Pour froman 11.2 oz bottle. Pale yellow beer with puffy white head that lasts. Flavor is light malt, respectable sour / bitter hops in the finish. Dry. Very good but not a good as some others.
