Jun 5, 2003 Updated: Mar 16, 2004Aroma is very nice and reminds me of good nights in Austria drinking large glasses of Warsteiner. As I look at this glass, it cries out, "Drink me! Oh, Drink ME!" So you know I have to. Mmmm the flavour is very pleasant and enjoyable and brings back terrific memories. The flavour is very wheaty. I should mention that this is a 5 liter keg we are drinking from, so this really helps. I don't understand why other raters don't give this a higher rating. This is GREAT fresh and from a keg! Listen to me. This is great stuff. Try it! The more you drink it the more you get a taste for it and you get a chance to sort out its complex flavours. 30.5% really does not give this beer justice. It is wonderful from a keg, trust me on this, and in a large Pilsener glass it looks so attractive. I give this quite a high rating.

May 22, 2005 Had this in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. OMG it was just like PBR! Loved it! I only wish it was PBR, so it loses points for not being THE PBR.

Dec 4, 2005 Perfectly golden pour, with a long-holding white head. Very slightly sweet aroma, a bit yeasty, but no too much. Perfect finish, and perfect balance of bitterness. One of my favorites.

Nov 9, 2006 Very nice taste. Goes down smooth. Nice sweet flavor. Could drink this all the time. I think this would be great to fill in for or replace any standard session. Thank you Germany.

Jan 2, 2003 A decent pilsener. I personally liked it, because it is fairly aproachable. Not too hoppy, not too strong. A good easy beer.

Jul 12, 2002 Light and refreshing, and a beer one can drink all night. I’m not big into the foamy head, so it doesn’t matter to me that this beer doesn’t have one.
