Aroma light but sweet with floral hop accents. Color a pale gold with medium head. Flavor also features a sweet malt foundation and a well-rounded but mild hop top-end. Body is medium-light--appropriate to the style, and is very smooth. In sum, this is a very restrained offering, and one might want a little more assertive flavor, but the elements and balance here are good---a very decent German export beer.

This is the ’Budweiser’ of Germany. It’s quite popular. It tastes OK and is drinkable but nothing to get excited about.

This is a very light German brew. One of the few German beers that I can easily find in most stores. Far better than its American counterpart, special but not amazing.

Golden straw color. Fizzy head that quickly dissipates. Typical lager/pilsener carbonation. Almost no aroma. Grain/malt taste that’s clean, fresh and simple.

A little hoppy on the nose, nice balanced flavor between malts and hops with a little yeasty flavor. Oily with medium bubbles, nice golden color. Head could be a little more dense and lacks body on mouth. An average german pils.

This is a good beer for the price. It is like enough that you could drink a bunch but to me it does not taste watered down.

Bottle 30cl. This is together with Alfa pilsener my beer for any time. Tastes great and definetly one of my favourite pilseners. Pours a beautiful golden colour with a good size head and nice carbonation. Smell is very hoppy and the taste is hoppy and nicely bittered. Only dissappointing thing is that the aftertaste. which isn’t too pleasant, sticks around for too long.

Pour froman 11.2 oz bottle. Pale yellow beer with puffy white head that lasts. Flavor is light malt, respectable sour / bitter hops in the finish. Dry. Very good but not a good as some others.
