Definitely better than generic american lager, due to the fact that in fact it does contain hops, and if I try hard a real flavor, not that it is a great flavor, okay but still nothing worth working to hard to find. adamlau (76), California, USA

Carbonated mid with mild yeast undertones and clover honey overtones. Fresh grain finish with honey undertones. Must try again. roder60 (1027), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is sweet and malty with some hoppy notes. Flavor is nice and smooth, bitter, and grassy. I agree with other raters that it makes a good pair with food. Overall, I enjoyed it. Aroma is grainy with herbal notes. Flavour is malty, bready but not sweet, ending in a bitter finish. For a not-great lover of pilsener as I am this is a good one. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2003 Pours pale like a typical pils and has a grassy/citrus aroma when in good condition. The taste is drier than most and pleasant on the back palate. The finish is a bit thin and therefore suffers in comparison to the Bohemian style. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

The aroma, appearance, and taste all scream pale lager to me. Im not saying its bad cause its not, but i dont see the difference in the styles.
