Brought by a friend from Germany. Pours a yellow-going-gold, with a nice and firm looking head. The aroma is malty and a bit lemonic. The taste is quite similar, fruity and malty for the most part. Also, its well hopped. Could use a bit more body, but it’s ok. Seems to be good when fresh, and this sample was. Still, nothing groundbreaking. Hendo (110), Sint Anthonis, Netherlands

Better than your regular BMC crap, but still nothing really extraordinary. A cornflake nose with a light grassy hop character. Bright pee-yellow like color with a thin fluffy white head. Flavor is light cornflake and very light grassy hops. Finishes clean with little to no aftertaste. Easy drinking, hardly complex. Great German lawnmower beer. ucusty (1913), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Some beers walk the line between pilsener and pale lager - this is one of those. I had some more at another place, a German restaurant, and that time the flavor was richer, with noticable Saaz hops. This brand looked extremely promising, but the delivery was a little lacking. Personally, I think if you’re going for a pilsner, skip this and head toward a true one. Definitely worthwhile for washing down a hearty meal, but not necessarily a standalone product.
