Crisp and refreshing. This a good lawnmower beer for non-white trash.

Definitely a good beer with a little bitterness to it. This beer has a dinstinct flavor but there is nothing about it that really seperates it from the crowd - just a good consistent drinkable beer with a strong but pleasant aftertaste.

Draft. Surprisingly does not taste as light as it appears. Slightly bitter aftertaste. A staple in my kegerator.

I go to a bar that keeps this on hand for me. I am the only one who orders it, but I like it. Little to no aftertaste, good aroma, and is enjoyable to drink with a bar meal. One of my favorites.

*updated* Had this again a day or so ago. Much better than I had remembered it. Might make this my standard everyday type beer. Love the flavor - just a bit different.

This is what Bud wants to be. Lightbodied. Medium bitterness. Crisp and clean, beautiful color blonde gold straw. I could drink 6 of these before I realized it was an hour past.

Ok I admit it, i have a soft spot for War Starter on draught! especially when served in the correct glass. Drank at ’’’’The Grape Vine’’’’ in Poulton Le Fylde. This is a pale golden colour with persistent head and bubbles. nose is floral with a hint of citrus. flavour is reassuringly sharp with a nice hoppy presence and of course the trademark Corn flavour of this style of brew. Cold and refreshing as a good lager should be. In short, wonderful!
