Pours a very clear pale yellow with good but not overwhelming head. Head is fairly dense and subsides to a finger in a minute or less with a little lacing. Smell is mostly of hops, though not much aroma at all. Tastes mostly of hops, then malt. Pretty smooth with just a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. Tastes more carbonated than it looked or poured. Does not taste as "fresh" as a Plsner Urquell and the bitter aftertaste is a bit harsher, but it is still a very drinkable beer that can be enjoyed one after another.

Dec 16, 2007 Colour gold head good,carb perfect,nice freshalmond like smell,earthy one that appeals to me.Tastes lovely hoppy and good bitter and dry finish,very refreshing drink.

Nov 13, 2004 Updated: May 29, 2007full bodied, lots of flavor, light aroma, clean palate, one of my favorite beers.
havent had a warsteinier in awhile it started off a bit hoopy with robust flavor, then gave a sweet, creamy smooth finish that is so refreshing. Oh how I missed you!
