Commercial Description:

best before 112.08 (go figure) Quite sure this beer is not as they intended it to be. Strong flavor with notes of sour/aging fruits. Taste is dominated by a sour flavor, resembling real bad white wine. i’ll drain the rest of the bottle, and flush with something else. If this was a a special beer, which was intened to taste like this i would rate higher. Strangest bock i ever tasted. Sour is too dominant,, either something went wrong or it’s not at all my taste.

(on tap) redish brow, white head. First of maltysweet, then mashysour, has low carbonation and waters out, not full at all to fill out a bocks place.

Bottle, bought @ SuperBest, Christiansfeld.
Pours deep, redish brown. A big fizzy beige head on top. Fizzes away quickly. Aroma is fruity (overripe apples), some light caramel. Medium carbonation. Flavour is sweetish, with a (probably unwanted) fruity tartness. Some light chocolate. Not good.

Tasted 2008-04-12. Fresh bottle. Pours unclear, dark brown with perly, beige head. Sweet, malty, grainy. Raisin-like sweetness but not in a good way. Slightly boozy. A little acidic and not really bitter. OK though. Definately drinkable. Not one I’ll be buying again.

Dark amber colored, little yellow head. Strong glue in aroma, some toffee and lemon comes through also. Medium bodied, crispy palate with lemony sourness. Flavor is also dominated by this glue and sour caramel, not very good flavored. Glue again, in sour aftertaste.
