daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. I am a sucker for apricot beers. Not sure why, but I love em. This one was pretty good. Tart apricot aroma with some wheat and yeast. Flavor has lots of dried apricot flavor, wheat and yeast. Good. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2009 Pours gold with a white head. Apricot nose as expected. Light body, not much and not very sweet. yemenmocha (344), Glendale, Arizona, USA May 3, 2009 Pours hazy, medium golden to slight amber, thin white head that doesn’t retain well. Nose is dominated by apricot, natural not artificial, and a suggestion of bread qualities. Palate is light to medium, apricot fruitiness is dominant again, with a sour fruity finish. Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Mar 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a half finger white head that faded fast. The nose is sweet wheat, some spice and light apricots. The taste is coriander, wheat and fresh apricots in the finish. You really get a true apricot taste. Lighter prickly mouthfeel. Good stuff – light and refreshing. machfive55 (218), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 15, 2009 Poured straw colored with almost no head. The aroma was mostly apricot, the flavor was also mostly apricot, with some other fruity esters going on. I’m not a big apricot fan, but the apricot flavor does grow on you as you drink this beer. Overall, it is fairly bland, but would make a decent summer ale or lawnmower beer and is definitely sessionable. I just find the flavor to be mostly bland with the exception of the fruit. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Dec 26, 2008 12 oz bottle from blindeyedbetty - thanks! Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Big apricot nose, some mild wheaty notes. Sweet apricot flavor, weak body. Meh. Mild astringency in the finish. Mediocre. mmmbeer (737), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 16, 2008 12 oz. bottle in trade from Douglas88- thank you! Served in flute- poured slightly hazy plae yellow/orange color, lively carbonation of small bubbles. Aroma of peaches, apricots, and candy sugar. Hits the mouth with a low body, sweetness overpowers the malt very hard, peaches and apricots are everywhere, finish is a tart quality to it. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium white head. Huge perfumey aroma with apricot/peach. More big apricot/peach (what is the difference between the two anyway?) notes in the flavour. Refreshing and nice because the fruit flavours seemed real and not just some chemical additive.
