Pale yellow with a slight hazed. A modest froth dies quickly but does have a full silky canopy that linger the whole drink. Aromas of fresh aproct perfume and biscuits. Nice! Light nectar with ample residual effers. Flavors of apricot sound off as the biscuit factory opens it’s doors. A bit of citrus plays it’s part. The finish is bittered nicely and leaves a lingering refreshing apricot essence. This is a nice brew with bright, clean, and refreshing attributes.

Pretty much smells like apricots. The taste is actually pretty good. Not very wheaty but it’s there. It has just the right amount of apricots and is drinkable.

This beer kicks so much ass they actually had to borrow asses from other states to supply the demand. the overall flavor is apricot and you can taste it more than anything. I don’t know why they canned it hefeweizen, it doesn’t taste like one at all. but I love it :) smooth finish. try it.

Bottle. I am a sucker for apricot beers. Not sure why, but I love em. This one was pretty good. Tart apricot aroma with some wheat and yeast. Flavor has lots of dried apricot flavor, wheat and yeast. Good.

Bottle: Very hazy yellow color, light large bubbles on the thin head with a bit of lacing. The nose is sweet and fruity with some esters balanced by a nice layer of apricot and a bit of musky wheat. Nice combination of wheat and fruit to give a pseudo german wheat beer. The flavor is a bit more extract-ish with some sweet sticky apricot and light bitterness, a bit much carbonation. There’s some additional vanilla in the nose as it warms up. The finish is a bit tangy, creamy and some odd proteins that make it nice. Thanks to my girlfriend for getting this beer for me in SLC.

Pours into my New Belgium goblet with a frothy, initially two-finger thick, off-white colored head. The beer is a gold color that shows a hazy, straw-gold color when held up to the light. The aroma is definitely apricot accented as this is even noticeable as I pour this brew. The apricot becomes more pronounced as I go in for a deeper draught of the aroma. Underneath the apricot are some light, cracker-like grain notes, though there doesn’t seem to be much else.

Lightly tart tasting up front, the apricot flavors boost a perceived sweetness and become more noticeable towards the middle and finish. The apricot in the flavor is not quite as dominant as it was in the aroma, but it is still the most noticeable thing about this beer. This has a light heft to it with a body that has some texture and weight, though note enough to keep this from being very quaffable. The light tartness is accented by the wheat character, but really not much else is noticeable underneath the apricot than a clean, neutral grain character.

It was quite hot and something cool, refreshing and easy to drink was what I wanted. This certainly fit the bill, and since I like apricots this beer wasn’t too distracting. Simplistic, why yes it is, but it still didn’t keep me from enjoying this beer. Though I will admit it is a little annoying that this is labeled a HefeWeizen, when it is clear that it uses nothing ore than a bland ale yeast.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a half finger white head that faded fast. The nose is sweet wheat, some spice and light apricots. The taste is coriander, wheat and fresh apricots in the finish. You really get a true apricot taste. Lighter prickly mouthfeel. Good stuff – light and refreshing.
