Well, a really good beer only comes around every so often. This was a great ale all the way around. Too bad it is seasonal. It was very rich, with just the right bitterness. Nice color, and great finish. This was the best ’brown’ I have ever had, in my humble opinion it knocked ’Newcastle’ right out of the water. I know that is blasphemy for all the Newcastle lovers out there, but tough shit.

12 oz bottle. Part of a Wasatch variety pack. I enjoy this more than most widely available brown ales. Nutty malt aroma. Flavor is light hops, malt and chocolate.

12oz Bottle – Wasatch Brewing – Draper, UT – Easy drinking brown ale this was mild with some nice malt flavors. Very light with the hops this was just plain brown ale. Not to special. Hell it got me through the holidays at the folks.

Tap @ bewpub: Brown with red tints accompanied by a small light brown head. Malty aroma of roasted nuts. The flavor was strong nuts and some chacoal. The body is full and creamy.

Thanks to douglas88 for sending this bottle along. Pours clear brown with a little red tint. Caramel and candy sugar aroma. Crisp, clean taste with some sugary sweetness in there. A decent brown ale.
