Appearance is hazy and pleasing. Flavor is a bit muted, but otherwise this is a decent hefe, and better than many american hefe attempts that should really be labelled as bland american wheats. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2009 On tap at the Salt Lake City Airport Location. Slightly murky, dark yellow pour with a soft, pillowy white head. Nice essence of cloves in the aroma. Solid hefe flavor with good bubble gum and banana notes. Decently thick mouthfeel. Refreshing after running through the airport - chugged this down in about five minutes when I saw that there was still time to catch my flight to Honolulu as the gate was just a few feet from the bar - anything for a rating! jcr (1190), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Draft. Hazy deep gold body with a nice white head. Light aroma of banana and clove with a hint of lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately tart with a slight off taste brought on by too much tartness. Medium body, smooth texture and soft carbonation. OK. yemenmocha (424), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Very light in color for a hefe-weizen, with gorgeous wisps of yeast from the bottom. Extremely appetizing appearance.
This Hefe-weizen is more similar to the lighter bodied imports such as Ayinger. In fact, it might be comparable to a nice Belgian Wit.
Very assertive in fruitiness, though very light bodied. Not much clove but the bananna is in full force. The best Hefe-weizen in Salt Lake City area.

The aroma is full of citrus and wheat. The taste is much more on the wheat side, some spices and citrus fill it out. A nice brew, easygoing and full. Enjoyable. mikey (337), farmington, Utah, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Poured on draught a hazy light gold color with a large white soapy head. The nose was of yeast, cloves and lemon. The taste starts with a malty sweetness, toasted grain and banana. A lemony bitterness comes next giving it a slight bite. Some spicey esters mingle with the bitterness in the finish, giving it a slight dry, grain finish. A nice Hef that makes a great, easy drinking session beer.
