Average hefe. Bananas, some lemon citrus. Drinkable but much better offerings out there but maybe not in Utah

Not a bad wheat. Hints of citrus and banana. Some sweet spice as well. Very average hefeweizen, nothing special. I had this in the Salt Lake City airport while I had a layover. Not a bad way to pass some time.

Not super. I agree with the banana and bubblegum in the rating below mine. Thank goodnes it is not as banana-ey as the BJ’s Hefeweizen.

On tap: The aroma moderate citrus notes, banana, bubblegum, and light spice. It’s a hazy, bordering on cloudy, dull gold with a moderate white head that leaves behind some decent lacing. The flavor starts with moderate banana and has a nice citrus/lemon and clove kick in the middle. There are notes of bubblegum in the finish. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation. I like a good Hefe and this was solid.

Sampled in the Salt Lake City airport while waiting for my connection to Vegas. Cloudy amber gold with a big off-white head. Sweaty, wet-hair aroma. Mildly sweet spice, wheaty, tart finish. More like a cross between an American wheat and a Belgian wit. Not bad, but not one I’d call a hefe in a blind taste test.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Hazy golden color with a thin head This had a deep wheat flavor with a banana and grapefruit flavors. This was a very nice drinking Hefe. The beer finished quite nice and was easy too drink.

Draught at airport (SLC) brewpub. Mild banana and lemon aroma, a bit wheaty with some yeasty notes. Cloudy butterscotch color, with thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with mild wheaty flavor, some mild grainy sweetness and carbonic acidity. Mild banana and lemon oil, with light chalky bitter finish. Mild but not too bad.

on tap-pours a dissipating white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is clove, secondary banana, wheat. Taste is clove/banana yeast, wheat. Smooth. OK carbonation.
