| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2003 This is truly not bad for a hefe, which I am not usually fond of. It actually has a few complexities to it. A cloudy yellow pour, with a small frothy head. Taste is slightly hoppy, with some bananas, pears and cloves thrown in for good measure, malty and slightly bitter in the aftertaste, it a great summertime beer, first thing in the afternoon, when you have nothing else to drink of course. In the finish some banana and cinnamon, this reminds me more of a belgian. Great lacing after it is all said and done. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
