| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2009 On tap at the Salt Lake City Airport Location. Slightly murky, dark yellow pour with a soft, pillowy white head. Nice essence of cloves in the aroma. Solid hefe flavor with good bubble gum and banana notes. Decently thick mouthfeel. Refreshing after running through the airport - chugged this down in about five minutes when I saw that there was still time to catch my flight to Honolulu as the gate was just a few feet from the bar - anything for a rating! shrubber85 (3006), Wallhalben, Germany

Primarily wheat malt flavor in the flavor as well - slight hints of typical banana and clove coming out. Agree with Zim29 that this was more like an Am wheat than a true Weizen. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Sampled in the Salt Lake City airport while waiting for my connection to Vegas. Cloudy amber gold with a big off-white head. Sweaty, wet-hair aroma. Mildly sweet spice, wheaty, tart finish. More like a cross between an American wheat and a Belgian wit. Not bad, but not one I’d call a hefe in a blind taste test.
