An unfiltered German-style wheat beer. Very delicious. Hazy, gold color, with a nice mouthfeel and a dry, slightly sour flavor. Perfect drink to go with a 1-1/2 lbs. of cased meat, pickles, and Bavarian Sauerkraut.

Distinct German yeast aroma. Slightly sweet, fruity flavour. You can feel the carbonation on your tongue. michael-pollack (2742), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 20, 2003 Brewed with traditional bavarian techniques, german wheat yeast provides the timeless notes of banana and clove. A refreshing light bitter finish and a clean refreshing mouthfeel. One of the best utah beers. Pailhead (2609), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2007 On tap: The aroma moderate citrus notes, banana, bubblegum, and light spice. It’s a hazy, bordering on cloudy, dull gold with a moderate white head that leaves behind some decent lacing. The flavor starts with moderate banana and has a nice citrus/lemon and clove kick in the middle. There are notes of bubblegum in the finish. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation. I like a good Hefe and this was solid. yemenmocha (426), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Very light in color for a hefe-weizen, with gorgeous wisps of yeast from the bottom. Extremely appetizing appearance.
This Hefe-weizen is more similar to the lighter bodied imports such as Ayinger. In fact, it might be comparable to a nice Belgian Wit.
Very assertive in fruitiness, though very light bodied. Not much clove but the bananna is in full force. The best Hefe-weizen in Salt Lake City area.
