douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Apr 12, 2008 Updated: Apr 15, 2008On cask at the Brewpub in Park City. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick and foamy white head. The aroma is quite hoppy, mostly a citrusy hops. The flavor is balanced between a fairly aggressive hop character and the smoothness of the malt and especially the cask character. I loved this balance. It’s subdued in ways that many IPAs are not, and I think that allows a lot of flavor to stand out. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 23, 2007 Cask hand pumped at McCools, Layton. Small creamy white head on top of hazy amber beer. Aroma is pure hop - grapefruit and pine. Taste is similar with some small malt notes. Palate is light, flattish and slightly watery, can drink alot of these at 4%. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 17, 2005 On cask @wasatch brewpub poured a hazy dark brown with an amber head. Aromas of grass, and pine, a very big hop nose. Flavor was grassy and piney. BIG HOP flavor. They dryhopped this one with tomahawk hops.
